About
If a picture says 1,000 words than thoughts like, “Chocolate attack” and “Does she really have six kids?” are mulling around in your head. Let me start by saying that we did NOT buy those Hershey chocolate bars, they were only being held for a family picture while visiting Hershey, Pennsylvania. As for the children, they are all mine.
Psalm 127: 3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.”
God has blessed us with six children. Our oldest daughter is 16; we have two girls who are 13. One is biological, and the other is our adopted gift from Russia. We adopted her when she was 18 months old. Our son is 11 followed by two more daughters. One is 10 and the other is 6.
I’ve been married to my husband, Tim for 19 years. He is an excellent provider and spiritual leader of our family. We’ve been through our shares of ups and downs, sickness and health, etc. I would have to say that our favorite line is, “You love me and I love you -so what’s the problem?” It keeps us focused on the truth – we have a God-like love for one another and love can cover a multitude of sins. He is my best friend.
I have been a Child of God my whole life. Raised in a Christian home, I was in church on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday nights. Let me tell you that I am far from perfect! I have made mistakes but I have also followed God’s leading, and when I do that, He is glorified!
